About the conference.
The basics: when it is, where it's held, and what's included.
Who is the Rocket City Vet Conference for?
Veterinarians who want eight hours of approved CE in a single Saturday,
especially solo doctors, small-practice owners, and independent hospitals where
four days away from the practice isn't realistic. Licensed vet techs, practice
managers, and support staff are welcome with a ticket. While the CE program is
designed primarily for veterinarians, many practices find value in attending
together as a team.
Where is it held?
The Westin Hotel in Huntsville, Alabama, inside the Bridge Street Shopping
Center. Bridge Street is a lifestyle center that contains places to shop, eat,
and play.
When is it?
The Rocket City Vet Conference is a one-day event, {{doors}}, on
{{date}}. You can find the full schedule on the
{{year}} conference page.
Is the CE recognized in my state?
Most likely. We will obtain CE approval for the surrounding states and provide
a list of those states as approval is confirmed. However, the registrant is
responsible for ensuring that their attendance of the Rocket City Vet Conference
(RCVC) will be accepted as continuing education credit for any and all licenses.
Rocket City Vet Conference is not responsible for ensuring that the courses offered will fulfill any requirements of other organizations. A certificate of completion will be provided to all attendees.

Is there a virtual option?
No. Alabama's continuing education requirement specifies 10 hours of in-person
attendance, and the Rocket City Vet Conference is built to complete 8 of those
required in-person hours.

What to know before you come, from bringing your team to where to stay.
Can I bring my staff?
Yes. Licensed veterinary technicians, practice managers, and support staff are
welcome with their own ticket. The lecture content is written for veterinarians,
but if desired LVTs in Alabama can earn all eight hours of their annual CE
requirements in one Saturday.
Can I bring my kids?
The Rocket City Vet Conference does not provide childcare. Children less than 3
years old can attend without a ticket. Children 4 years and older may attend
with their own ticket. RCVC trusts parents' judgment that any included children
would attend in a way that does not disrupt the conference experience for others.
However, if necessary, attendees of any age that are disrupting the conference experience for others may be asked to leave the conference without a refund.

Is there a place to nurse or pump?
Yes. A private mother's room is available throughout the day, with a fridge for
milk storage.
What's included in the ticket?
Eight hours of CE, hot breakfast, hot lunch, an afternoon snack, coffee and water
all day, the full conference swag bag with a t-shirt, on-site parking, and the
optional end-of-day social with food and drinks.
Will food cover dietary restrictions?
Yes. Allergy and dietary information is collected at registration.
Where should I stay?
The Westin is a hotel. Booking a room at the venue means you take the elevator
to the conference instead of driving to it. Out-of-towners can arrive on Friday,
attend Saturday, and head out Sunday morning without ever leaving the building.
However, you do not have to be from out-of-town to enjoy a nice hotel stay in a
convenient proximity to the conference.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, free on-site parking is available.
What's the refund or transfer policy?
A $50 refund is available for cancellations prior to November 30th, 2026.
After November 30th the registration fee is non-refundable.
